The biggest complaint against this blender is the noise level. A lot of blenders do produce a lot of noise, and this is clearly one of the noisier products on the market. For many consumers that is worth dealing with when you consider the number of things you an make in the blender.
Let me show you what current owners have to say about it.
David A. Leon,
By far the best blender on the market, totally exceeded my expectations,
A couple of months ago, I decided I had had it with my cheap Cuisinart blender popping the top off the blender and spraying my kitchen. It was also woefully inadequate at blending the ingredients for bolognese sauce. I had to grind the vegetables for my bolognese sauce in my food processor, which left much to be desired.
After an extensive comparison of Vita-Mix and Blendtec, I decided I would go with the Blendtec. The greater wattage, the radically designed 4 inch blade, and the 96 ounce jar, and the sensor features were what sold me. To make a long story short, I love this blender. It totally exceeded my expectations, and I was expecting a whole lot for some $400.
